Citizens for Planet Earth is a continuation of the educational outreach campaign for the PBS series
Journey to Planet Earth. The goal of this science project is to help people get involved in learning about the environmental quality of their own neighborhoods.
This TryScience website features a variety of fun activities you can do to learn more about your community's environment. You can also share your discoveries online and learn what other people have learned in their community.
We believe that informed and committed citizens are critical to improving the quality of our environment. We hope that you become one of them and that you find your involvement to be rewarding and enjoyable.
