Step 1
Make a central crease as shown, by aligning one long edge of the paper with the opposite long edge. Crease well.
Unfold. |

Step 2
Fold down both top corners as shown, aligning the top edge on each side against the central crease. Crease well.
Unfold both sides. Turn the paper over. |

Step 3
Note that the creases you just make join each other at the front of the central crease. Take the diagonal crease on one side and align it carefully against the central crease, and fold as shown. Repeat on the other side.

Step 4
Now fold back the front tip so that it touches point A. Crease well.

Step 5
Shows the result of the previous fold. Fold the tip back forward so that it just touches the front edge in the exact center.
Unfold. |

Fold up the small forward wing on the right, following the paper edge shown.

Now fold the small right wing back out as shown. Your fold should extend from the right upper corner to the horizontal crease in the center, as shown.

Shows the result of Step 7. Now, fold up the small left wing, as in Step 6.

The result should look like this. Turn the plane over.
Fold in half along the central crease, carefully aligning both sets of wings. |

Fold down each wing as shown, aligning the diagonal edge of each wing with the central fold. Make certain both the wings and the canards match each other exactly. Partially unfold.
