dinorwig_intro=The Dinorwig power station in North Wales uses water to drive a turbine that generates electricity. It uses off-peak electricity during the night to pump water to a big reservoir in the hills. During the day, when the demand for energy is high, this water is released to supply extra electricity to the National Grid.
